NIGHTMARE

 The nightmare that I am going to talk about is from my own experience. I never thought going for a trip to my village with my cousins would be this much thrilling and adventurous. 

Generally, I don't participate in those activities which contain risk. But somehow I became a victim. Well, I can't change my fate, can I? I am not ashamed to say that I am a coward and it is a well known fact to my family.

Even after knowing this, my cousins took me to an abandoned house or in other words you can say a haunted house in my village. All of us stayed there for 10 days and we were quite enjoying it. But someone has to ruin it, right? That's what one of my cousins did.

He thought  it is quite boring of us just  spending our quality time only staying at home. Rather than that we could do some adventurous stuff instead .And it is a cue for me to sneak out from that room.

But as I said earlier none can change their fate and sadly my cousin saw that I was trying to sneak out from there. And told me not to even try because I have to go with them.

Finally night came, all of us went out for this adventure and my cousins were so excited to see the ghost. However, I was not happy at all.

The abandoned or haunted house that we were about to go to is actually our late grandfather’s. And for a twist let me tell you all that there was a graveyard just beside that house. And there were some rumors about a guy walking with something in his hand at night .And I was not ok with it. But eventually, they convinced (forced) me to go there.

When we entered I saw that the interior was exactly like the movie called ‘ Bhool Bhulaiyaa ’ and the thought that came to my mind, is there any way to disown your own cousins? Can I even do that? The answer is simply No.

Anyways, we started walking further then suddenly we heard door cracking sound as if someone just opened the door. One of my cousins said nothing to worry about it might happen due to the wind. Then all of them calmed down but I was the only one who was not fine at all. The random thoughts were roaming around my mind and one from them was would my parents going to get my body or would they(parents) get to see me and the important one are they (ghosts)going to vanish my body or going to leave it for my parents?

I know these are some wild and weird thoughts but I couldn’t help it . However, we were walking towards  the stairs to see more, ignoring some signs which were given by ghosts I think. For example, the door cracking sound, electricity went off suddenly, it seemed like someone whispered near our ears(all of us felt that).But still my cousins had to do some adventurous stuff.

And the optimal time came that would make everyone leave that place instantly. We saw a man who was walking towards us with a hurricane in his hand and that was the time when I got my answer I can actually disown my cousins. I ran from there as far as I could. For your information, I hardly could tell about my own address. But I don’t know how I remembered my grandparents house where I was staying.

The good news was that we all reached the house safely and none of us talked about anything and went directly to our room to sleep. I could bet that none could sleep that day. Eventually the morning came and we were having our breakfast very quietly. Then suddenly  a man entered the house and said that yesterday night some thief entered that abandoned house and added that those thieves must be stupid to enter there. And the golden words that he said just blew our mind. Well, he was the night guard who was about to catch those thieves which means he was the one who was walking towards us with a hurricane in his hand. That day I understood the actual meaning of relief. Till this day, my cousins call it an adventurous trip. However, I call it a NIGHTMARE.
